I came to realize that I will never change my Dad's mind about politics. Also, He will never change mine as well. But that's ok!<BR/><BR/>I really don't think that either the Democrats or the Republicans are what they were in, let's say, 1990. They've changed drastically and I don't see eye to eye with either one. I guess that's why I registered Independent. <BR/><BR/>The Libertarians are very tempting, BUT I have to say that I agree with about 99% of the Constitution Party's Platform. My Dad was one of those 'dyed in the wool, pull the democrat lever' voter. <BR/>I was never like that. I cast my vote for the candidate that reflected my views, regardless of party affiliation.<BR/>Sharla was the same way.<BR/>We both finally made the defection to the the Republican side a couple of years ago and for a short time I thought my family was going to disown me.
